As part of the open invitation of parents and professionals related to our work, we had the pleasure to welcome to our school our student’s Maria’s mother, Mrs. Evi, a Greek Literature teacher and just the right person to bring us into contact with the myth of Hercules.

Mrs. Evi talked to us about the birth of Hercules, his encounter with Areti and Kakia (the personalized notions of Good and Bad), as well as his fifth feat, the Stymphalian Birds. The children helped our hero solve a difficult maze and choose Areti (Virtue) to guide him for the rest of his life. They then completed a drawing about what impressed them the most in the battle of Hercules with the terrible birds. We stored our work in the Erasmus+ folder, we thanked Mrs. Evi very warmly and the next day we made a huge card for her!
